30-pound pull horseshoe magnet for making velvetised nail art and other similar effects. Usable with magnetic nail polish only. Comes with a reusable box in one of four random colours and a magnetic plate. To remove this plate slide it off the base of the magnet, pulling off the plate is not recommended.
To recreate the velvetised magnetic effect place the magnet under your finger and paint a coat of your chosen magnetic nail polish and wait a minute, keeping the magnet under your finger in the same position during this period. Repeat this until you have reached your desired opacity and effect. Use a quick dry top coat (ideally one without toluene, such as our Quick Spell Top Coat) while maintaining your finger on the magnet, and magnetise for another minute.
If you are in a rush, you can apply 1-2 coats of the magnetic polish without magnetising to reach your desired opacity, and then apply a thick final coat of the magnetic polish, holding the magnet under your finger for 1 minute. Afterwards, apply top coat while magnetising for another minute. This enables you to skip magnetising the first couple of coats.
